New beachfront restaurant at SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort

Have you tried Koh Samui’s latest beachfront restaurant, located in our newest resort? Open to both in-house and outside guests, the TENT beachfront restaurant and bar serves a combination of international cuisine, modern Thai favourites and SALA Signature dishes with a choice of private dining spaces, casual beach salas, and romantic beachfront gazebos. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Street food lunch at SALA Samui Choengmon Beach Resort

From street food to fine dining, Thailand loves her food, and it’s not hard to see why. Twice a week, we’re showcasing the best casual bites that are universally loved by everyone to give Thailand its street food cred: succulent grilled chicken, papaya salad, sticky rice, pork and shrimp skewers. Every Tuesday and Saturday from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.

Our chefs are joining a 15-strong island-wide culinary team and getting together in the name of charity, with proceeds going to ‘Phuket Has Been Good to Us’ to support underprivileged children.

The pre-paid promotion, which includes savings of up to 35%, includes one Thai cooking class, one in-villa Champagne breakfast, one rooftop dining experience, and 15% discount on all à la carte food and beverages including alcohol. Duck three ways at sala ayutthaya

Throughout the third month of the year, our chefs are offering three ways to enjoy a local delicacy – duck. Preparations include:  kuay tiew lord sai ped (steamed flat rice noodle rolls, THB 250++); crispy confit leg of duck orange sauce (THB 450++), and spaghetti phad kee mao ped krop (stir-fried spaghetti with crispy duck, THB 370++). A special panna cotta lod chong ice cream kati (THB 250++) ends every meal on a sweet note.

Thailand International Balloon Festival at sala lanna Chiang Mai

Guests staying at sala lanna this month shouldn’t miss out on the chance to experience the annual balloon festival, now in its 10th year. Hosted at the Cowboy Army Riding Club, a 40-minute drive from the hotel, the festival includes tethered balloons, live performances, great food, an art exhibition and special workshops. Open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. from 2-4 March.

A family-friendly attraction just 3 minutes’ walk away is Museum Siam, which re-opened following extensive renovation. Housed in a charming vintage mansion, the museum’s permanent exhibition showcases Thai culture through multimedia displays and presentations. Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
